Our Mom and Tots class is for toddlers ages 24 months - 35 months. It is a class for mom or dad, grandma or nanny to also attend with the child. Class is held once per week for 1 1/2 hours. In a relaxed atmosphere the class is led by a teacher who will have story time, music and singing, free-play time and outside play on our fenced play ground area. It is a wonderful class and opportunity for mom and toddler to socialize with others.
Our preschool participates in the "PAJAMA PROGRAM of Eastern Ohio" providing pajamas, and books to children who are removed from their homes under emergency circumstance. A pajama party is part of our fun for the children at school at the end of our Pajama Program drive. Last year 160 pairs of pajamas were donated.
HAVE A HEART - DO YOUR PART Change Bandits for Akron Children's Hospital. Our preschool families and staff collects coins from home and bring them into school in our large coin jars. We discuss how this money helps the
hospital buy much needed equipment to help the children in the hospital get the deserved care they need.
EASTER BASKETS - Everyone collect items that would go into Easter baskets for children. Candy, books, toys, stuffed animals, etc. The children help the teachers assemble the beautiful baskets and fun buckets full. We wrap them up and put a huge bow on each of them! The children then all gather around all 70+ baskets for a great picture together! These are donated to area churches to donate to needy children in our community.
